Leslie is a native Floridian and has over 20 years of Endoscopy experience and has been a nurse for 31 years.  She strives to ensure that her patients receive paramount care and that they clearly understand any procedures they may undergo. She has a passion for teaching, whether it be to her patients, co-workers, students, or the community.  She wanted to provide information about her field to school-age children who may be considering pursuing nursing as a career.

In addition to teaching and writing, she is an avid traveler and photographer.  Leslie has traveled to 30 of the 50 states and 7 countries.  As she travels she captures photos that tell a story for those viewing them. She loves to photograph landscapes, animals, architecture, and food.  

She loves reading and writing and is a current blogger for Minority Nurse Magazine (MNM), writing about nurse experiences and motivational inspiration.
